About Paula Blanca

My name is Paula Blanca and I’m beyond excited to share my work with you. Some things about me:

• Loving wife
• Mother of Dragons (ok, just 3 fur babies really) 
• Merchant Mariner by day,  artist by night
• Avid listener of audio books
• Made in the Philippines
• Polymusical tastes (it's about the song, not the genre!)
• Firmly believes in progressing as a human being
• Loves ferns and moss
• Will binge on art and animal videos

I work primarily with fluid art techniques, using acrylic as my main medium and sometimes combine that with airbrush work and whatever else might catch my eye that I'd like to dabble in (SQUIRREL!)

Here in Washington state, we are just immersed in nature’s beauty. Fluid art piqued my interest because, like nature, the forms and shapes and flow of it just seemed so organic to me. I loved the way every person saw it differently.

It's a lot like planting a seed and instantly watching the flower bloom, giving the piece a life of its own. Sharing this work with the community is what brings joy into my life.
